Celebrate Carterton Space Week with a special Rocket Revolution Edition of our Star Safari experience.
Join us beneath the pristine skies of the Wairarapa International Dark Sky Reserve for an unforgettable journey through the Universe. Guided by experienced astronomy educators, you’ll explore the Moon, planets, star clusters, nebulae and distant galaxies through powerful telescopes while discovering the remarkable stories behind the night sky.
As part of this special Space Week edition, we’ll also highlight the rockets and spacecraft that have transformed our understanding of the cosmos—from the first space-age pioneers to the powerful launch vehicles carrying today’s telescopes and missions into orbit.
Whether you’re attending Carterton Space Week for the first time or returning for another adventure, the Rocket Revolution Edition offers a unique way to experience one of New Zealand’s darkest skies while celebrating humanity’s continuing journey into space.
Suitable for all ages. Weather dependent.
