Hari Mogoșanu is an astrobiologist, science communicator and educator based in Wairarapa. She is the Executive Director of the New Zealand Astrobiology Network and co-founder of Milky-Way.Kiwi, the organisation behind Star Safari, Spaceward Bound New Zealand and Wairarapa Space.
Hari has worked with schools, communities and public audiences across New Zealand, helping people explore astronomy, planetary science and the search for life beyond Earth. She studied astrobiology through NASA Ames Research Center and has participated in multiple Mars Desert Research Station analogue missions, investigating how humans might one day live and work on Mars.
She is passionate about making space science accessible to everyone and believes that curiosity is one of humanity’s most powerful tools for exploration.
