Step inside the Mars Blueberry, our portable planetarium, for a short live space session with Hari and Sam as part of Carterton Space Week: Rocket Revolution.

These planetarium sessions are designed for curious minds of all ages. We’ll explore rockets, gravity, space travel, Mars, and the science behind getting from Earth into space. Each session is live and interactive, so bring your questions. We can follow the conversation wherever the universe takes us: from why rockets need so much fuel, to how astronauts float, to what it would take to travel to Mars.

The Mars Blueberry is a cosy inflatable planetarium where we can fly through the Solar System, look at the night sky, and connect the big ideas behind Rocket Revolution.

Perfect as a stand-alone activity, or as a companion session for families taking part in the rocket-building workshops.

Suitable for: Families, children, students, and curious adults.

Bring: Questions, imagination, and your best “what if?” thoughts.ur instructors, journey into the vast expanse of the universe. This is an experience that the whole family can enjoy. Hari and Sam have created Spacewardbound.NZ, a nationwide space education programme and Star-Safari.NZ, a space education programme and a stargazing experience, right here in Wairarapa.

These are 30 minute sessions.
