The Carterton Rocket Academy Intermediate Workshop is for young rocketeers, curious makers and returning rocket builders who want to go beyond the basics. Presented by It’s Not Rocket Science, this hands-on session explores how real model rockets are designed, built, balanced and launched safely.
Participants will build and launch their own model rocket while learning about stability, fins, drag, launch angles and the small design choices that can send a rocket soaring beautifully, or wobbling back to Earth with dramatic personality.
This workshop is part of Carterton Space Week: Rocket Revolution, where we evolve from water rockets to real model rockets and discover the science behind getting things off the ground.
