Carterton Space Week 2025 is proud to present a free screening of Good Night Oppy, the acclaimed documentary about NASA’s Mars rover Opportunity.

The evening will open with a special address from Dr. Mitch SchulteMars Program Scientist at NASA Headquarters, who has been deeply involved in the search for life on Mars. His insights will set the scene for the extraordinary story of Opportunity, a rover designed for 90 days that thrived for nearly 15 years.

Directed by Ryan White, Good Night Oppy is a moving tale of resilience, discovery, and the bond between humans and their robot explorer, millions of kilometres away.
